A division of Columbus State University.  The Center opened in 1996 for the purpose of public education in space science, physics, and astronomy.

 

Many activities to do.  Interactive lobby displays including seven flight simulators; Omnisphere Theater planetarium with full-dome video projection system with laser effects and concert-quality sound; Mead Observatory; Challenger Learning Center where groups of students and visitors can fly a simulated space mission completing scientific tasks in reproductions of both Mission Control and the Space Station.
