The city's oldest municipal park. This historic downtown parkhouses the Arkansas Arts Center and MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. Outdoor facilities include brick promenades, a pavilion, available for rental, a boccie court and the scenic Contemplation Gardens.

The pool is one of the nicest in Cedar Rapids.  It is an Aquatic Center with sand area, concession, 2 nice larger outdoor water slides, diving board, half-slide (where you drop into the water), infant/toddler slide, and mid-size tube slide for those not quite tall enough to go on the big ones.
